This past Sunday, Honey Power had its first Pop-up shop with handmade goods, HP-donated clothes & housewares and special guest bands playing on the front lawn. It was a beautiful day of music, meeting new friends and building the Honey Power community.
The day began with a yard sale to fund-raise future Honey Power events. All Honey Power members contributed; highlights included Brandy’s incredible collage-based art and Sweet Erika’s delicious homemade ice cream tacos!
The night came to a magical end when everyone grabbed a cup of hot chocolate and sat in the front lawn to see some live performances by Alice Berliner, Fragile Gang and a surprise performance by Laura Marling.
The night was a huge success and we’re excited to turn the Pop-Up shop into a Honey Power tradition. We want to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped us put this together. Honey Power depends on all the continuous help we get from our friends, fans, and collaborators; we appreciate you all so much and can’t wait to see what the future holds as Honey Power continues to grow.
